It's Friday. Yeah, yeah, yeah - on so very, very many levels!

I'm so happy to put aside all that pulls at me, and join with Lisa-Jo and that group of bloggers who write for five minutes from the heart.

Because He loves you.

I've always loved this quote:

"Do you love me because I'm beautiful,

We self-centered humans, of course, always think of this line in terms of our spouse (or boyfriend, or girlfriend, or "significant other"). But really? It says so much about our true beauty in the eyes of our True Love.

We are beautiful because He loves us.

I am beautiful because He loves me.

YOU are beautiful because He loves you.

Not because you wear a size four (though you may). Not because you have a straight nose (you might). Not because you have flawless skin (you could). Not because your legs or your child or your house is "perfect".

Nope. You're beautiful because He loves you.

And oh, don't you just know that He cherishes you in all of your beauty!

So really? Shouldn't you - shouldn't I - celebrate this wondrous love by accepting it?

I think I will.
